Morgan J. Smith, Founder of AWARE
Morgan is the founder of The AWARE Project. For over a decade, he’s built businesses from the ground up—most notably Bloom, an art-focused retail store in West Virginia that continues to thrive under his leadership. He’s also developed programs to support creative growth, helped artists and entrepreneurs scale their ideas, and learned firsthand what actually drives progress.
Morgan brings a rare mix of artistic instinct and business acumen to his coaching, offering practical support, strong questions, and zero fluff. His work centers on helping people get clear, stay aligned, and build what they were meant to build.

“We’ve had the great pleasure of working with Morgan for many years through his shop Bloom. It is by far the most thoughtfully run art retail space around and every last detail is managed with incredible care. Its continued success in an industry that sees many come and go is a reflection of Morgan’s dedication and leadership. Any client will be sure to benefit from his skilled entrepreneurial insight, years of creative industry knowledge, and passion for purpose driven business.”

Brian Serway

“There is a time when it’s necessary to abandon used clothes, which already have the shape of our body, and forget our paths, which always lead us to the same places. It is the time of great journey, and if we do not dare do it, we shall have remained forever at the margins of ourselves.”
— Fernando Pessoa
